London Calling

Shaun and I were lucky enough to jet off to London last week for his 31 birthday. London was so crowded, I'd never seen it like this. But with the London Marathon, the Queen's Jubilee and the Olympics being only 100 days out, it seemed everyone, not just us was headed there for vacation. We had some amazing meals, and got lucky with the weather (by lucky I mean it didn't rain much, but was still freezing). I also got to show Shaun and a friend my old neighborhood, which was a lot fun! I love the architecture in London..well all of Europe. I wish we had more buildings here that had as much style and character.  My friend and I went to Harrod's to pick up gifts for others.  We turned and went the wrong way and ended up at the Princess Diana and Dodi Memorial....creepy!  I had to be sure and take lots of pictures of "real British soldiers" for Kieran, and well I wouldn't be me if I wasn't taking picture's of flowers.  Our next trip will be to Hawaii for the summer. Where are you going next?

PS. If you've been to Canary Wharf would you agree with my nicknaming it "Little America?"

Easter Weekend

The best part of any holiday is how excited the little ones in your life get.  Kieran was so excited to see what the Easter Bunny brought him this year. It was so fun watching him run around looking for all is loot.

Spring in the City

This past weekend my best girlfriend from college came to visit. It was wonderful to see Ania again and be able to show her around the City. Sightseeing and shopping in SoHo, a Broadway show (Rock of Ages..super funny and the guys would lke it too), The Met, Central Park, the City was glorious this past weekend with temperatures in the 70's. I can't wait to have her come back to visit, so we can explore new parts of the city.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend too.
