Kailua Beach

The weather today was perfect. I know its probably hard to imagine the weather being anything other than perfect in paradise, but somehow, today seemed lovelier than usual. The sun was out, it was warm and there was a light breeze. Perfection!

Kieran and I headed over to Kailua to meet up with our friends from New Jersey who are also spending time visiting family in Hawaii this summer. We decided that we would all go picnic at the beach and let the boys play in the sand. The boys had such a good time running around the beach and playing in the sand. We even made a new friend, of the feather variety! We then headed over to our friends pool so the boys could play and the mommy's could relax. They were so cute making up little games. Including, attack of the shrimp! You'll see the picture. So cute! I then took to tossing them into the pool. Fun for them, great arm workout for me! LOL!  After exhausting them in the pool we headed out to dinner. Fletcher stayed with Grandpa and Grandma, while the two bigger boys, came out and ate everything in sight. They were especially happy to see their sundaes arrive! It was great end to a great day!
